The Howler

The Howler team is made up of journalists, photographers, and artists. Nicole Janisch and Ally Schuurman are our Editor-in-chief duo, and Brennan Gleason is our production artist who designs each edition. The paper is free, and will be available at RBSS, as well as at Ethical Addictions Coffee House, and other establishments in the community.

"The Bateman Howler has one simple goal: to keep students connected to their school, their community, and their world. Our team of journalists are an enthusiastic group of students with a wide variety of interests, reporting on issues that matter to them. From current events, to the hottest bands on the Abbotsford music scene, to the latest trends of the season, the Howler has something for everyone. Regular columnists keep the foundation of the Howler strong and give you something to look forward to every issue, guest columnists spice things up with fresh new viewpoints and opinions, artists give students inspiring works to decorate their lockers with, and the poets and short story contributors continue to expand the Howler's diversity with non-fiction additions that are sure to open your eyes to just how much talent Bateman has to offer."

If students are interested in contributing to the Howler, they should speak with or email Miss Blair in room W213.
